R. S. V. P. ALIVE AND ACTIVE! R.S.V.P. – Retired and Senior Volunteers Programme, is part of Community Services Volunteers, Charity No. 291222. In Barnet, we have nearly 500 volunteers, mostly over 50, (some into their 90’s) who want to help their community. Our members tell us what they would like to do, and we find them voluntary work in that area. We work in schools, hospitals, with the disabled and homeless, the old and the young. THE BARNET BARN DANCE GROUP Meets fortnightly on Monday evenings, 8 – 10 pm @ Church House Hall, Wood Street, Barnet (behind the big church in the centre of Barnet) Buses stop outside, and there’s plenty of parking – access from Wood Street. First visit nearly free (50p) then £2 a night.All dances are called by their resident caller, Alan Ambler.
