 The town of Barnet in Hertfordshire lies on the northern border of  London and  is the most historical town in the borough of Barnet, if not  the whole of  London.

 Barnet 4U serves High Barnet, New Barnet, East Barnet and  surrounding  areas.

       We have History - Local business - What's on and more....

 We feel that Barnet has a lot to offer if people get behind it.
 Our leaders in the town hall seem to have a disregard for our town as  can  be  proved by the parking situation and many other factors that  can and will  be  brought to your attention by those that live and work  in Barnet (the  town not  the borough).

 There are many things that happen in Barnet that do not get reported  by  the  "Local Press" and we hope that Barnet 4U will keep you  informed on  local   matters such as:
 * Why is not more being done to project the towns history and  heritage.
 * Why are we allowing an old peoples club to close down.
 * Why is  Barnet Football Club being forced to leave our town.

  And there are many more issues that need to be brought out into the  open.
  We want you to have your say and you can also contribute to this web  site   with ideas or suggestions to make you proud to be a Barnetonian.

 At Barnet 4U we have our own man who gives his views on the town and what  is happening in it. His Name is Matt (Man About The Town) and his views are to  the point and could be contriversual (something this town needs).

  Barnet 4u has been running for 10 years and hundreds of  thousands have   visited the site.   Every year the site gets bigger and so we have decided that   the history and heritage of Barnet should have its own identity.
  In 2012 we will be launching two new Barnet web sites devoted to this   historic town.

    BYGONE BARNET    (www.barnethistory.co.uk) will be an audio visual site where you can  travel   back to the past and find out  more about one of the most historic  towns in   the  country.
